Louisville Football: recruiting book


University of Louisville football staff spent time recruiting Thursday.

And the staff came up with a few offers, including three in promotion 2023 and three young people in promotion 25.

Here’s a look at the new offers on the table:

Chris Peal

Charlotte, NC, Providence Day cornerback Chris Peal has announced Louisville becomes his 10th scholarship offer.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Peal doesn’t yet have a 247Sports rating, but it should be coming soon. It also landed offers from Oklahoma and Maryland this week and has also been offered by Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Wake Forest and the State of North Carolina among others. .

Peal has 23 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one interception in seven games this season.

Elias Cloy

Louisville made an offer to ’23 two-way lineman Elias Cloy, who plays for Alpharetta, Ga., High School.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Cloy attended Louisville’s game against Virginia two weeks ago. He also attended games in Cincinnati and Harvard this fall.

Cloy has two other deals at this point – Troy and Western Kentucky – but has sparked a lot of other interest.

Tony martin

Another 23 prospect offered by the U of L is Miramar, Fla. Quarterback / athlete Tony Martin.

Martin, 5 feet 10 inches, 165 pounds, paid an unofficial visit to Louisville in late July. He landed the offer on Thursday and said the other at this point was from Marshall.

CJ Wiley

Alpharetta, Ga. Top athlete CJ Wiley said Louisville became his first offering on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Wiley is a prospect in the class of 2025 and plays wide receiver, tight end, free safety and punter as a freshman at Alpharetta High School.

Wiley is also an outstanding infielder and pitcher in baseball and has a wingspan of 6-foot-7.

Dylan lewis

Milton, Ga., High School ’25 Receiver / defensive back Dylan Lewis was at the U of L game against Virginia several weeks ago.

And on Thursday, he landed an offer from the Cardinals.

Lewis’s offer from the U of L was the first for him.

Ryan ghea

Ryan Ghea was another 25-year-old Atlanta-area prospect to land an offer.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Ghea plays at Milton, Ga., High School, and is also a talented baseball player. He is a baseball first baseman and outfielder.
