âThese are significant pay increases for both of these coaches,â Johnson told the Daily Advertiser after the meeting. “The goal is to ensure staff continuity and make their salaries competitive nationally. They will be paid very well for college baseball assistant coaches.”
Johnson won $ 856,687 in his final season in Arizona when he took the Wildcats to the College World Series for the second time. He took his first team from Arizona to CWS in 2016.
