The three best hockey movies to watch while waiting for the 2022-23 NHL season

The NHL season begins in October, which means fans have plenty of time ahead of them to wait for games.

We haven’t had an NHL hockey game to watch since June 26, when the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6. We are about a month and a half from the end of the season and we still have a month and a half before next season.

With all of that in mind, I thought it would be fun to watch some hockey movies that everyone should watch.

I’ll be honest, there aren’t many great hockey movies. keep on going almost made this list considering the few hockey movies available. Football and baseball have an endless repertoire of movies to choose from, and hockey doesn’t have the biggest library.

Let’s move on to the first movie hockey fans should watch this summer:

Miracle stars Kurt Russell as Coach Herb Brooks. The film follows the 1980 United States Men’s Olympic Hockey Team as they attempt to win a gold medal.

The film, directed by Gavin O’connor, is a true story and has incredible on-ice camerawork. . Although there aren’t many hockey movies out there, this sports movie isn’t just a top hockey movie, it’s one of the best sports movies of all time.
